Project Management-Content Marketing Specialist

Job Purpose

The Project Manager/Content Marketing Specialist provides positive leadership and maintains strong client relationships while working with assigned teams in executing projects and schedules that are high quality, delivered on-time and on-budget. The Project Manager/Content Marketing Specialist will also assist in vetting new opportunities as well as new business efforts.


Day-to-day management and administration of accounts within the agency with clients, third-party vendors and internal teams. Create client project documents including creative briefs, estimates, project timelines, status reports, media plans, conference reports and supporting documents. Maintain electronic files, key documents and assets on the server. Ensure projects are fully scoped, forecasted, and remain on schedule/within budget. Track budgets and alert client if their requests that fall out of scope have financial implications, and secure approvals. Client accounts may include B2B and B2C.

Create content to engage clients’ target audiences with storytelling messaging tailored across digital properties including web, social, email and other media channels.

The position includes coordinating with the account, creative and PR teams to customize content and distribute through our own and clients’ marketing platforms.

Guide development of projects from start to finish, securing approvals (creative briefs, budgets, creative materials) and implementing the process of completion to meet schedules.

Capture and interpret program results, summarize findings, and work collaboratively with the team to suggest improvements and enhancements. Gain an understanding of our client brands, their core values and the categories they operate within. Participate in the team’s thinking to strategically build client brands.

Contribute to new business efforts and adhere to agency processes and financial policies, identifying ways to improve processes. Enter time sheets weekly, demonstrate willingness to handle other duties.

Skills Requirements/Qualifications

Two-three years of experience in project management and implementation with client interface. Minimum 2 years of experience in creating and curating content for digital and social media with competencies in project management, tracking and reporting results, analytics and client communications.  This person will also support agency principal with tasks such as media traffic and scheduling, creating project timelines and estimates.

Organized and detailed with ability to provide effective proofing, management of deliverables, budgets/billing, and archiving of documents and assets for historical reference. Provide regular status updates, and budget documents.

Ability to communicate clearly and thoroughly both verbally and in written form.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), preferably Adobe Creative Suite, email and marketing automation platforms (such as Hubspot). Reports to Account Director.
