When General Transmissions, a France-based component manufacturer, acquired an electric motor company called Actuator in China, the company needed to update its positioning to match the new integrated product offering. It also needed to update its name. Following the colloquial term already used by customers over the years, the company formalized and changed its name to GT. Many of the new integrated products being developed represent new product and component configurations. GT wanted to feature the intelligent design and capability they embody, along with smart manufacturing. The new brand elements speak to their ability to assist major brand customers in creating unique, differentiated products. We developed the brand refresh, video, website, collateral, and trade show booth designs.
